Rhassoul has been used as a skin and hair cleanser for over 12 centuries. The Rhassoul clay is mined in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. Rhassoul clay, also known as Moroccan lava clay, is an ancient clay formed deep beneath the Atlas Mountains in eastern Morocco. With its ability to absorb oil and impurities from both skin and hair, Rhassoul clay makes hair and skin incredibly clean, smooth, hydrated, clear, and feels fresh.Rhassoul clay is very rich in trace elements and has extraordinary absorption properties which makes it very effective for cleansing the skin. It helps reduce dryness, reduce flakiness, brighten skin, improve skin elasticity and improve skin texture. It removes dead skin cells, surface oil and oil from within and around clogged pores, resulting in an overall smoothing of the skin.

This mineral-rich clay is unique for its multifunctional benefits: 

- It improves skin elasticity and clarity.
- It is a gentle detoxifier that makes your skin soft and smooth and helps to reduce flaking.
- It is rich in silica, magnesium and potassium.
- It is often used in masks, mud baths and clay baths, Rhassoul is described as a balancing clay, perfect for all skin types as it attracts and lifts dirt, but does not strip the skin of precious natural oils.
- In hair care, Rhassoul was used in ancient Rome and Egypt to wash hair naturally. Rhassoul clay is the moisturizer and softener, as it reduces dryness in the hair, while also removing impurities and product build-up. 
- It stimulates the scalp, helps restore softness and shine to dull hair, and nourishes through the higher ratio of silica, magnesium, potassium, calcium, and other trace minerals.

Rhassoul is ideal for acne-prone, oily and atopic skin. It is also appreciated for its cleansing and sheathing action on all hair types.

Rhassoul has a true clay smell more earthy than charcoal.

Moroccan Lava Clay. Rhassoul clay is also very rich in trace elements and has extraordinary absorption properties.

Morocco

Daily Use: In the hammam, mix it with water to form a very soft paste and apply it to your skin or hairline. It may also be massaged all over the body with a suitable brush.

Occasional Care: For fine and weakened hair, a pinch of Rhassoul applied to the moistened scalp provides volume and substance.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: 

Rhassoul must be kept away from moisture in its small, well-screwed box to preserve all its virtues.

Shipping costs include preparation, packaging and postage costs. All preparation costs are fixed, whilst transportation costs vary according to weight and destination of delivery. We recomment all clients to group all articles in one order as combining orders placed separately comes with separate charges.
